Pete Hendl - Owner / Sales Consultant
Pete has lived in Kerikeri since the early 1970s. He was originally involved in the set up of Kerikeris largest horticultural company, and developed a large number of orchard properties. Pete was instrumental in the successful set up of the REAL concept in Kerikeri. He also developed Kerikeris largest commercial/retail development in Waipapa and has first hand experience and knowledge as a commercial developer. Pete has great knowledge of people and property in Kerikeri.
Pete enjoys the lifestyle that Kerikeri has to offer along with his wife Tissi, their seven children and three grandchildren. They spend their leisure time at the beach bach at Tapuaetahi. Pete enjoys gardening, cooking and hanging out with family and friends.

Steven De Ruiter - Owner / Licensee
Steve has lived in New Zealand since 1986 (originally from Holland). He is proud to be a kiwi and call New Zealand his home. He has been self employed since he was 17 and has a wide knowledge of the business environment, including commercial cleaning, operating a restaurant, cafe, bakery, promotional and marketing business, investment and real estate.
Steve is the co-owner and Licensee in Real Ltd and says that real estate is by far the most fulfilling business he has been involved in. Steves passion is not the homes he sells, but the people he meets, the friends he makes, and the relationships he builds along the way. Steve, himself is a property investor and walks the talk by buying and holding real estate for a long term and look for opportunities to add value. Steve often facilitates small property seminars to keep his clients up to date with whats happening in the market.
Steve is married to Brenda and has two teenage children. He loves living in Kerikeri and enjoys the great outdoors, like fishing, water-skiing, diving and tramping.

Tissi Hendl - Owner
Tissi grew up in Kerikeri, studied away for a short while, then returned to Kerikeri, married Pete and raised their seven children.
Together with her husband Pete, they have a wide range of contacts in the commuinity and know the history of the area well.
Tissi is not working at Real on a daily basis but is still involved in Real as a co-owner of the business.

Brenda De Ruiter - Owner / Branch Manager
Brenda has been in New Zealand since 1986 when she emigrated from Holland. Trained as a hairdresser, Brenda has been involved in many businesses, including Adam & Eve Restaurant, Keripies, Impress Promotions and now is the co-owner and Branch Manager of Real Property Kerikeri Ltd.
Brenda looks after the administration and processing of contracts in the office. Its a job she loves doing and we have a great team who make it fun going to work each day. In Real, we really do work as a team and we also spend time socialising together and coming up with any excuse for a themed party!
Brenda is married to Steven and has two teenage children. She loves living in Kerikeri and spends most of her free time on their boat in the beautiful Bay.

Harry Wynnychuk - Sales Consultant
Harry and his family moved to Kerikeri in 1988. His extremely successful career in Real Estate began over twenty years ago. He has consistently gained results due to his dedication and enthusiasm towards reaching positive outcomes for his many clients. In 2008 he took out the REINZ Bay of Islands award for Residential Sales Person of the Year which was a true reflection of how hard he is prepared to work for his clients. Hein Knippers - Sales Consultant
Hein emigrated from Holland in 1980 and is now proud to call himself a kiwi! During his ten years of selling real estate in Kerikeri he has built a reputation based on service and commitment to his clients. He received the REINZ Northland District Award for Outstanding Service in 2007 and then again in 2008. With a background in the service and hospitality industry he brings a wealth of experience with him. His professionalism is second to none and he will always go the extra mile to ensure the best result for his clients. In his spare time he can be found out in the Bay enjoying his fishing or on the Kerikeri Golf Course enjoying a round of golf. Sharon Roberts - Sales Consultant
Sharon moved to Kerikeri from the UK after being involved in the customer service industry for twenty two years. She has loved her Real Estate career from day one and enjoys building a rapport with her clients. She has listed and sold a great variety of properties and with her ability to build lasting relationships with people it helped her to achieve Real Estate Rookie of the Year at the 2008 Northern Advocate Awards.

Vince Buxton - Sales Consultant
Born in England, Vince moved to New Zealand with his family in 1979. After finishing a Bachelor of Science at Auckland University Vince headed off to the United States where he spent 15 years. Vince moved to the Bay of Islands in July 2002 to enjoy the unique quality of life that Northland has to offer and to live closer to his family. In his spare time Vince likes to go fishing and diving out in the Bay, or golfing. Vince is applying his business and experience, gained as a Director of a Fortune 200 Healthcare corporation, to selling real estate in Kerikeri. Vince has completed his National Certificate in Real Estate and is currently working on his branch managers Diploma. Vince brings professionalism, integrity and a commitment to the "REAL" team.

Aimee Collins - Marketing / Administration
Aimee is the part of the administration team who creates the Real Issue (She has a degree in PR and Marketing from The University of Waikato). She loves the creativity and challenges involved in producing the paper each month.
In her spare time Aimee loves diving, fishing and all things to do with the water.
Jillian Peacock - Receptionist
Jillian is the bubbly personality who greets you as you come into the office or over the phone. Jill grew up in Kerikeri and brought her first house here at 19 and can't wait to add more property to her portfolio, who knows she might even end up selling houses herself one day!
With a love of travel, Jill has returned after 3 years abroad travelling around Europe on her O.E. Having worked at the interim at Santeez Cafe, she is very excited to be back pursuing her interest in Real estate.
Being a local girl, Jill has a wealth of local knowledge and a willingness to discover what she doesn't know in order to assist you with any questions you have about moving to Kerikeri.
