Pete Hendl - Owner / Sales Consultant

Pete has lived in Kerikeri since the early 1970s.  He was originally involved in the set up of Kerikeris largest horticultural company, and developed a large number of orchard properties.  Pete was instrumental in the successful set up of the REAL concept in Kerikeri.  He also developed Kerikeris largest commercial/retail development in Waipapa and has first hand experience and knowledge as a commercial developer. Pete has great knowledge of people and property in Kerikeri.

Pete enjoys the lifestyle that Kerikeri has to offer along with his wife Tissi, their seven children and three grandchildren.  They spend their leisure time at the beach bach at Tapuaetahi.  Pete enjoys gardening, cooking and hanging out with family and friends.

  • Steven de Ruiter

Steven De Ruiter - Owner / Licensee

Steve has lived in New Zealand since 1986 (originally from Holland).  He is proud to be a kiwi and call New Zealand his home. He has been self employed since he was 17 and has a wide knowledge of the business environment, including commercial cleaning, operating a restaurant, cafe, bakery, promotional and marketing business,  investment and real estate.

Steve is the co-owner and Licensee in Real Ltd and says that real estate is by far the most fulfilling business he has been involved in.  Steves passion is not the homes he sells, but the people he meets, the friends he makes, and the relationships he builds along the way. Steve, himself is a property investor and walks the talk by buying and holding real estate for a long term and look for opportunities to add value.  Steve often facilitates small property seminars to keep his clients up to date with whats happening in the market.

Steve is married to Brenda and has two teenage children.  He loves living in Kerikeri and enjoys the great outdoors, like fishing, water-skiing, diving and tramping.

  • Tissi Hendl

 Tissi Hendl  - Owner / Office Manager

Tissi grew up in Kerikeri, studied away for a short while, then returned to Kerikeri,  married Pete and raised their seven children.

With her family now grown up, Tissi now works in administration and liaises with all the agents in a sales management role.

Together with her husband Pete, they have a wide range of contacts in the community, which is very useful in the real estate business. Anything you want to know about Kerikeri ask Pete or Tissi.

  • Brenda de Ruiter

 Brenda De Ruiter - Owner / Branch Manager

Brenda has been in New Zealand since 1986 when she emigrated from Holland.  Trained as a hairdresser, Brenda has been involved in many businesses, including Adam & Eve Restaurant, Keripies, Impress Promotions and now is the co-owner and Branch Manager of Real Property Kerikeri Ltd.

Brenda looks after the administration and processing of contracts in the office.  Its a job she loves doing and we have a great team who make it fun going to work each day. In Real, we really do work as a team and we also spend time socialising together and coming up with any excuse for a themed party!

Brenda is married to Steven and has two teenage children.  She loves living in Kerikeri and spends most of her free time on their boat in the beautiful Bay.

Harry Wynnychuk - Sales Consultant

Harry and his family moved to Kerikeri in 1988. His extremely successful career in Real Estate began over twenty years ago. In his spare time Vince likes to go fishing and diving out in the Bay, or golfing.
