First impressions count!... Consider these simple ideas, to maximise your results
 

PRESENTATION IS MOST IMPORTANT

INSIDE 

  • Spring Clean 
  • Fresh flowers 
  • Freshly brewed coffee is always nice 
  • Open all blinds and curtains 
  • Fresh towels in bathrooms 
  • Keep all counter tops cleared 
  • Polish stove tops and electrical appliances 
  • Keep furnishings to a minimum 
  • Start packing away ornaments and personal photos
  • Quiet background music if possible
  • Turn lights on if a dull day
  • Open doors to the outside if at home
  • Smoking and dog odours need to be dealt with as our agents have found these to be most off-putting to purchasers.
 

OUTSIDE

  • Keep the grass mown and the edges trimmed
  • Clean and/or weed the drive and clear away leaves
  • Weed and tidy the garden beds
  • Trim untidy shrubs
  • Wash the house itself
  • Tidy the sheds on property
  • Get rid of clutter around the back door
  • Lock dogs away
